AGM 2010/2011

Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held yesterday at Cyncoed Campus, UWIC where the seniors and juniors get to know each other for the whole afternoon. The event started with a brief presentation by BDSSW's President, Isa Sukarni and BDSSW's PRO, Adibah Shahrani.

After the presentation, new committees of BDSSW 10/11 was announced by the President. Congratulations to all of the new committees! :-

Vice Public Relation Officer: Ak Mohd Iskandar Shah Pg Morni

Vice Religious Officer (male): Abdul Hakim Salleh

Vice I.T Officer: Hajah Hamizah Haji Munawar

Sports Officer (UWIC): Adi Asmawi Adanan

During the event there were also an appreciation presentation where former BDSSW President 09/10, Alina Haji Perudin presenting certificate to each of former BDSSW executive committees 09/10. The event ended with a group photo of the BDSSW members.

REMINDER : ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

A general meeting for the members of BDSSW as an ice break for seniors and junior and the election of the new committees will be held today (16th October 2010) at UWIC Cyncoed Campus, Block B, Second floor, Room B207, at 1.30pm . Food and drink will be provided.

Bruneian students in Wales come together to celebrate Aidilfitri

Brunei Darussalam Student Society, Wales (BDSSW) recently organised a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration for Bruneian students residing in Wales, United Kingdom.

The event was held in Cardiff but other students from all over Wales such as Glamorgan, Swansea and Bangor were also invited to attend the ceremony. The event was aimed at fostering closer relations amongst all Bruneian students residing in Wales, especially the freshies who just arrived this year from Brunei.

Present at the ceremony were President of BDSSW Muhammad Isa Denis and Vice President Nurayuni Atikah Hj Marzuki, as well as other members of the BDSSW committee.

The BDSSW executive committee will be organising an annual general meeting soon which will include an ice breaking activity especially for the freshies.
